Wow... this was a great book to end the new year reading. I am in love with this series and I can not wait until book two comes out.

 

This story has it all...hot alpha male, great smart mouthed girl, wonderful banter, drama, hot passionate sex and secondary characters that you fall in love with as well. Isabel Lucero wrote such a wonderful story that she is now on my favorite list :)

 

Jace is a gorgeous male escort that has been in the business for years. He has made tons of money and had some fun but truly never has loved. He doesn't allow anyone to get to know him. He puts up the walls and does his job. That is until he sees the beautiful Adrienne.

 

Adrienne is going through a nine month dry spell and her last boyfriend was nothing to brag about. She is a successful event planner and has noticed this hot God like man at a few events that she has been to. Every time she sees him he is always with a new girl. She thinks he is a total player nut questions if she'd want to play that game with him.

 

Fate steps in and they meet and start something but will Adrienne be able to accept Jace with his job and his past? Will drama and heart ache break this couple apart?

 

This book was wonderful. It had me smiling like a school girl. I am being honest when I say that this book is a MUST ONE CLICK READ IT TODAY!!!!

This book was another emotional book for me... It's Kate's story and her life with her twin girls. I loved Kate from Life's Perfect Plan and I loved her even more in this book. Though not short on drama with her ex Keith, I didn't cry as much as I did with the first book.
Kate is putting her life back together after her split from her ex husband Keith and his cheating and stealing ways. Next on her list is remodeling her veterinary clinic that she has taken over since her granddaddy retired. With the remodel come Luke, the sexy contractor that molds his way into her life.
Luke has a past just like everyone else, he's plagued by his "dark days" and it seems that Kate is his new form of therapy. Life is never perfect nor does it ever go according to plan but Luke and Kate try to make it work. Outside forces try to pull them apart and one massive heartbreaking blow threatens to pull them apart.. can they make it?
If you haven't read this series I do recommend it, it was truly an emotional roller coaster in book one and book two was a great read.. I can't wait for Ethan and Leah's story..❤TARA

Jessi let the warm water from the shower spray onto her face.  She was happy.  Tommy was happy.  Angel was happy.  Their much needed talk at the breakfast table set some ground rules.  Angel was open to communication and encouraged it.  It gave her comfort. 

After she showered, she meandered back to the bedroom, as she towel dried her hair.  Tommy and Angel were already naked and in each other’s arms on top of the unmade bed.

“What took you so long?” Tommy asked, before returning his lips to Angel’s neck.

Jessi didn’t answer.  She wanted to watch.  She leaned against the doorway and folded her arms.  She watched Tommy kiss Angel with an urgency that she never saw before, and the love that Angel had for Tommy was never clearer to the naked eye than it was right now.  She knew they were in love.  It didn’t scare her as much as she thought it would. The confidence she had in their marriage overshadowed her fears and doubts.

This is a cute book with a hero that is straight out of book boyfriend land. Eevie is a quiet girl who finally moved out on her own after years of taking care of her siblings when her mom got sick. She doesn't know how to let her hair down and have a good time but she's slowly coming out of her shell. As here life is becoming her own she is met with some of life's challenges, relationships, work and juggling her friends. In walks Aiden, handsome, athletic motor cross racer who she is instantly drawn to, but as fate would have it he has a girlfriend.
Months later fate intervened again and now both single they finally have their chance.
My only complaint about this book was the lack of real drama, there was some but it felt brief and like a blip in the book if that makes sense. Definitely worth the read and I will read book 2.

It was perfect—at least, for this purpose. This was the location. That was, after all, what she had come to expect, wasn’t it? Perfection. Nothing more, nothing less, and it pleased her. An ocean view because he liked it, seclusion because she did. It wasn’t an enormous house, but would be adequate for her needs; she truly didn’t consider his. She had only picked the ocean view house due to the seclusion, and she could make him believe that she chose it for him. It was all an illusion, really—as were most things for her accommodation. The furnishings had arrived earlier in the week. She didn’t inconvenience herself for their arrival—there were people who handled that sort of thing—and she hated mingling with those that didn’t matter. Money took care of them and what they did to suit her. As she walked from room to room, she took in some of the mediocre choices she had made—all for his taste—so she could achieve her ultimate goal—him. How did that beach bitch ever stand the look of this shit? she thought as she wrinkled her nose in distaste at the overstuffed sofa and chairs in the living room. It was a bit more elegant a display than was in Declan’s home. Of course it would be—she was Marisol Franzi! Her taste was much better than Declan’s or his former plaything. That was evident to even the most mundane decorator. Walking through the kitchen, she snickered at the coffeemaker, thinking it almost blasé. Did he never think of cappuccino, espresso? The idea was appalling. As her stiletto heels made a clicking sound on the shiny hardwood stairs, Marisol ascended as a queen in a kingdom. The master bedroom suite at the top of the stairs held a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean, its iniquitous waters as black as the void in her soul. The dark night sky held not a single star, to spare her a flicker of hope in her malevolent beauty. An imposing full moon cast a sinister light into the room. It beckoned her to walk up to the large window, which could be seen from the massive bed, the wood expertly carved in the four posters. ♪ “Oh…the things you will see me do, Mr. Moon…” she said suggestively as she reached up, first one arm, then the other, behind her to unzip her dress. Letting it fall to the floor, Marisol made her way to the bed and crawled like a cat into the middle of its grand size as a contemptible shadow followed her from the window. Lying there, she stared out at the moon, reveling in the knowledge that she could hear nothing but the objectionable ocean, and that no one would be able to hear the screams and moans that would come from this house. The thoughts that crossed her mind gave her the most delicious sensation running through her veins. She closed her eyes to savor the mental pictures. She had been tolerant, compliant, and even passive until she felt she would scream, but for this, she had planned every small detail. She shivered with the intensity of joy that flooded her, knowing that her efforts would not be in vain, and the time was coming soon. She’d finally get what she had planned and waited for. Nothing—and no one—could stop her. No one ever could. When she had come to this country, and she, Marisol—THE supermodel—was created, they told her she’d never want for anything again—and they didn’t know how right they were.

She was invincible.

She had conquered everything.
